Momma!  I was reading an article about diabetes and walking.  To summarize here’s the tips I found out:

1.) Walking directly after a meal helps control blood sugar and lower fat storage hormones.

2.) Walking outside helps stimulate your mood and keeps you  motivated.

3.) Picking a house a little farther up than you and walking as fast as you can until you reach that house, then slowing your pace back down and repeating the process is good for your heart rate and a good way to use walking as a weight-loss mechanism.

4.) Sticking to a specific diet, in older women, helps boost weight loss.
