I’m signed up for this! I got my notice for it this week. The footpath that I found at the part is a quarter mile. I’m going to switch out my scheduled interval run tomorrow with a 5K for time. Two laps of running, followed by one lap of walking. I’ll make sure to post my time. I want some of those prizes! That Zappos gift certificate wouldn’t suck AT ALL.

This was to be my “Yay, For Me” post about walking 5K. Not so much.
Yesterday, late afternoon, I was kicking myself for not taking advantage of the beautiful fall weather and doing my 5K. I got over that and decided I would map my route on SparkPeople and do it today. Well, folks, today is Halloween, the wind is howling, and a winter storm is on it’s way in.
After considering my schedule for the rest of the week, I’m shooting for next Saturday, but we’re in for another snowstorm that day, too.
Crap! I want to do this. I want to do this now. Crappin’ weather.

I am AMAZING!
No need for applause, thank you. I have enough celebration in me on my own.
